Hello everyone! welcome to my blog.....today's topic is going to be about a new series that I'm starting called the MAGAZINE REVIEW...i will be reviewing beauty magazine's and their tips and tricks that they share....for my first magazine review, i would like to review the newest seventeen magazine...so lets get started:
MAGAZINE REVIEW #1: November 2011 seventeen
this is the November 2011 issue of seventeen magazine which has glee star heather Morris on it. In the magazine, they share 101+ fashion tricks for EVERY body, looking cute and confident, and getting unbored this weekend. Also they teach you how to get perfect legs, butt, and abs. For the November freebies, they are giving away a slew of BREAKING DAWN goodies including twilight perfume, lip gloss, and hair straightener. For heather Morris's makeup, they did a simple eyeliner from FLIRT! cosmetics, and eyeshadow called i''m whipped from FLIRT! cosmetics, and a FLIRT! cosmetics big flirt sheer and shine lip gloss in coral me fabulous. For the fashion edition, their goal was to make your body look amazing for every body type including tall, petite, and curvy. They started off with skirts...here's what they said:
SKIRTS:
TALL:a fitted mid calf shape makes your legs look crazy-sexy awesome.
PETITE: give your slim hips a flirty curve with a flippy pleated Minny skirt
CURVY: a bandage skirt hugs your hourglass figure.
CUTE TOPS:
TALL: a ruffly tank that hits mid hip gives you shape and keeps your torso in proportion.
PETITE: tops that have a sweet pattern and full sleeves fill you out in a pretty way.
CURVY: a soft peasant blouse shows off sexy shoulders while skimming over your tummy.
PERFECT PANTS:
TALL: a bold print legging and a soft drape make your best assets look even better
They also share ultra cool new looks for fall. Including tiered skirt, strappy heels, floaty Cami, knee high socks, bright belts, fitted body suit, black lace dress, belted trench, and boots and jeans combo....I think the only ones i would really wear would be the floaty Cami, knee high socks, black lace dress, and the boots and jeans combo. Other than that, it think the other ones are just hear for this fall and will soon fade away.
They also have an updated issue of how to pick your perfect bra which i think is pretty good informative section, but not all of them are pretty...haha ALSO! they have this new advertisement for the maybelline baby lips. This ad is soo cool because they give you t-shirt iron ons so that you can make a baby lips baby tee in four steps. Apparently this new lip balm will give you visible lip renewal and 8hr hydration...plus its in SUPER cute packaging!!....cant wait to pick it up!
Also in the fashion issue, they share the latest trends that are still under budget...heres what they give you:
SKINNY JEANS FOR UNDER $40
COZY CARDIS FOR $35
FUN SNEAKERS FOR $30
FLARED MINI SKIRTS FOR $25
BOLD NECKLACES FOR $20
CUTE RINGS FOR $10
personally though, i don't think i would ever spend that amount of money on any of those....
For the beauty edition this month, they share how to find your perfect look...including playing up your features, getting your healthiest hair, enhancing your skin tone, and more!
the first part of this is how to show off your favorite features and getting awesome cheekbones. You really need to see the colors to find your right skin tone but they do give you good tips on where to apply blush and highlighter for your head shape. I will probably make a separate issue on how to do this according to the issue. Next, they share with you on how to get smoldering eyes in 3 simple steps: frame your eyes, create contours, and get ultra-flirty lashes. They also show you how to find the right colors for your skin tone and customizing a smokey eye for close set, far set, and downturned eyes. Next they share on how to get luscious lips they say to flaunt your shape and then drench them in color. Again they show you how to customize it for full, thin, and uneven lips and different red toned lipsticks to try.
For the seven days of beauty, they show you how to pump up your ponytail with the polished pony, romantic roll, edgy streak, sporty braid, soft swirls, wild texture, and sweet volume. The only one that seems cool to try is the sporty braid which is a high pony tail in a braid! super cute! :) i might do a tutorial on it so look for it :) Next they share how to coordinate your colors:
IF YOUR WEARING:
PURPLE---NUDE LIPS
PINK---STEEL GRAY EYES
RED---STRAWBERRY LIPS
ORANGE---PINKY FLUSH CHEEKS
GREEN---SMOKY BROWN EYES
YELLOW---A BRONZY GLOW
for the beauty notebook of this month, they shared on how to brighten up your complexion! i think I'm actually going to buy some of these products because of the in depth review on each! i really think they did a reallllly good job on this one!! :) so here's what they shared what would be the best to brighten you up.
AVOID IRRITATION: pick a soothing formula with soy because it improves texture, evens out blotches, and lightens dark spots....they recommend AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT BRIGHTENING CLEANSER
EXFOLIATE TWO TIMES A WEEK: a gentle scrub a week will slough off any dead skin cells that are laying on your skin! the CLEAN AND CLEAR MORNING BURST SKIN BRIGHTENING SCRUB contains lemon extract which acts as a brightness booster.
GLOW WHERE YOU WANT TO: a tinted moisturizer will give you dewyness, even out your skin tone, and can sometimes improve it! they recommend URBAN DECAY URBAN DEFENSE TINTED MOISTURIZER IN SPF 20
Also they give you good brightener systems for your skin type! heres what they say:
DRY: MAC SIZED TO GO STROBE CREAM
OILY: CLICKR SKIN CARE DIAMOND DUST SKIN POLISHER
COMBO:CLEAN START BY DERMALOGICA BRIGHTEN UP SPF15
SENSITIVE: BURTS BEES SENSITIVE NIGHT CREAM
i think i might change my routine and try this routine and see how it goes! :) this is one of the best one's I've seen. They also do a special guide for girls with relaxed, coarse, or natural hair...however I'm going to do a WHOLE other blog post on this one and my thoughts on what they recommend and what I recommend.
They give a very cool way to be in shape in the HEALTH section...they say a new way to work out is to DANCE your way to mega hottness.
So that was my review on the November issue of seventeen magazine! there were alot of helpful ideas but i would like to see more hair ideas....thank you for reading and check back here for more cool posts!!

MAC haul!
HI everyone! welcome to blog...todays topic is going to be my MAC haul. Homecoming was last week and I got my makeup done at MAC. The policy at MAC counters are thatyou have to purchase atleast $50 worth of product. Luckily, I had needed to update my makeup wadrobe and decide just to splurge! If you want an indepth review on one of these products that I will be mentioning, just comment down below. Otherwise my opinions are going to be very brisk and to a point. Also, i have come up with a new way to review a product, hopefully you like it and keep on Reading.
I have Purchased a total of 7 prodcuts which i think is pretty good for like 10 minutes of trying to pick out stuff. I only got 10 minutes because my mom and I had to rush out of there because we were already late to get ready and everything.
The first item that i picked out was the MSF natural or the mineralized skin finish in natural. I really needed a new powder and I wanted to try something other than bare minerals. While bare minerals is still such a good product, the MSF natural totally blew it out of the water. This powder really is my exact color and it gives me good coverage but still lets my skin breathe Its also tranfer proof so it doenst get all over my clothes.
The next item that I picked out was an eyeshadow called all that glitters. I am still debating whether i like this eyeshadow or not because while on lighter skin people, it looks like a shimmery golden color that will give you the perfect glow from within, on my skin it appears much more golden and peachy tone, and almost like a peachy white with heavy amounts of frost. I sitll dont know how I am going to pair it with my grey eyes, but its such a staple MAC item to have that i felt like i just HAD to have it.
The next item i chose to get was a Paint Pot from thier permanant collection. This color is in quite natural and it has become my all time favorite color ever. It is cool tone so just be ware of that. I always thought that because i have such warm yellow undertones, that my eyeshadows would have to be warm blues, brown, golden, and offbeat whites. I just bought this paint pot on a whim not even checking if it even went well with my skin color and just htough how pretty it would look with my eyes. Man oh Man it looks amazing! its soo creamy and soo easy to work with and it gives my face that kind of undone look. You can just go out the door with this and some mascara or some heavy blackliner. Either one looks super fierce and it takes like two seconds to do!
The next item i chose was another paint pot and this one was in constructivist. I had recived a sample of this about 3 months ago and i really enjoyed it, unfortunatly it dried up and i never really got to experiment with it. I picked this up on a whim because of the similarity to the color satin taupe. I always love creme products, so instead of buying another eyeshadow, i decided to get a similar color ot satin taupe and pick up constructivist. I really haven't been able to figure out how to use it because ive been so addicted to quite natural, but expect a MOTD using htis and showing YOU how to use it also.
The next thing i decided to pick up was just a concealer. Specifiacally the studio sculpt concealer in NC45. I had run out of my other one and decided now would be a good time to buy some more. Overall, its a very good concaler. Very creamy and easy to work with.
The next thing i picked out was a MAC creme sheen glass in partial to pink. This is my first creme sheen lipgloss and i am IN LOVE with it! I have been using it over top of wet n'wild's 902C bare it all, and it just gives me a light pink nude pouty look. It smells like frosted cupcakes which is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it soo much :) i really reccomend you try these out.
The last hting i decided to get was MAC'S eye kohl pencil in smolder. I had lost my other one and decided it was perfect to get another one. I really do like this and if you use it right, it won't smudge or move on you all day. I think i have a post on this telling you how to exactly use this.
Swatches are all there for you to see and i really hope you enjoyed this post! If you want an in depth review on one of these just messege me or comment below! hope you guys are all well and see you in my next post! :)

My foundation routine!!
Hi everyone! welcome to my blog....today's topic is going to be my personal foundation routine. I think I apply my foundation in a very unique way, its a very light feeling but it practically covers up everything without really using foundation! Don't worry, this is going to be an in depth review on the products that i use and why I use them.........enjoy :)
1) Moisturize face with AMBI fade cream
I do have a skin care routine explaining a full in depth review on the AMBI fade cream for oily skin. The reason why i choose this over a moisturizer though is because it really gives a clearing affect to the skin instantly
2)Apply Sweet almond mint oil
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee applying an oil to my face for my foundation routine! it is one of the most crucial steps because: it moisturizes your face, give you an instant dewy look, highlights your face, treats your skin of any impurities! I especially love the one from WEN by chaz dean....It has a cooling affect which really wakes up my skin.
3)Apply(MAC studio sculpt concealer in NC45) concealer to all impurities except your forehead
Now I do know the rule of foundation THEN concealer, but I'm not really applying foundation. Now when you apply your concealer to all your blemishes, make sure to PAT them in on the EXACT spot the blemish is in. This is going to provide more coverage and create a seamless look. Then taking a tiny concealer brush, I apply the same concealer under my eyes and PAT under my eyes for a complete look.
4) Apply(maybelline dream mousse blush in coffee cake) blush.
This blush isn't the greatest but i have been using it a lot lately because of the tiny golden flex in the product that really highlight my face. Its very creamy and does fade after about an hour, but if you put it UNDER a powder your probably going to get about 3 hours use of it.
5) Apply (Bare minerals tinted mineral veil) powder
A tinted powder will add color back into your skin, even out your skin, stop excessive oil, and set everything under it. I especially love this powder because it IS tinted so it doesn't make my dark skin look ashy.
6) Apply highlighter of your choice( bare minerals all over face color in pure radiance)
This highlighter is almost exactly like the maybelline dream mousse blush in coffee cake just in a powder form. This is really going to set my blush while catching the light!
YOUR DONE!!! because of how long it takes to pat in the concealer it takes about 10 minutes to do the whole routine....however I do wake up pretty early so its ok :)
Hope this gave your some ideas :)

My skin care Routine
Hello everyone! welcome to my blog....today's topic is going to be about skin, skin, skin. Before I get into my actual routine, let me tell you a bit about my skin's history and what its like. I started getting acne at the middle to end of 6th grade and it was mostly around the center part of my face: upper forehead, nose, mouth. For around then, i used clean and clear and noticed that it didn't really seem to do anything. By the time I was in 7th grade i didn't have much acne and for this period i used ACNE FREE which seemed to be working AMAZING! but then my skin started to get used to the ingredients in it, and again started to break out all the way up to the middle of 8th grade. By this time, I had had a new philosophy that in order to get acne free skin, i first needed to cleanse my skin of all impurities. For this I used Aveeno positively radiant which broke me out like CRAZY!!! then I started using at home remedies such as an oatmeal face wash. That didn't work AS well as i was hoping too. In the summer I started using ambi products and it really cleared up my skin, again my skin got used to it and started to form break outs all over my face. Now, just entering highschool, i have chosen to go with a new cleanser, so here is my weekly skin routine:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY:
MORNING: wash face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. Pat my face with sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
NIGHT: wash face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. Put ambi fade cream for oily skin all over my face. Pat my face with sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
TUESDAY, THURSDAY,SATURDAY:
MORNING: Exfoliate my skin with st.ives apricot scrub. wash my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser. moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. Pat my face with sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
NIGHT: wash my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. put ambi fade cream for oily skin. and skip the sweet almond mint oil
SUNDAYS:
MORNING: wash face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. pat on sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
NIGHT: do a super fruits peel off mask. moisturize face with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. pat on fade cream. skip sweet almond mint oil.
I know this can seem really confusing, but it really isn't. Couple of things i want to explain about this routine. I wash my face twice at a time. The reason for this is because the first time your cleansing your face, all your doing is sloughing away the dead skin and dirt that was on your face previously. While this is really good, you also want to target the breakouts under the skin so this is why I wash two times. Another thing is, Try NOT to exfoliate every single day or else your skin will become super sensitive, red, and blotchy. Also try to do a mask at least once a week. I do a peel off mask because its literaly PEELING off a thin layer of your skin so the rest of your face products can target the problem areas. Another thing, Some people CAN and CAN'T use an oil. I have pretty normal skin so using this oil makes my skin feel like water and it also leaves a very dewy fresh appearance to my skin. Now i will give a mini review on each of the products I use.
Cetaphil daily Facial Cleanser for normal to oily skin: So many people rave about this product and for me, its just ok. I don't notice a dramatic change in my skin, however i've only been using it for 2 weeks. This product comes in 8fl oz. and claims to remove excess oil without drying. And this it does, its great if you just want your makeup removed and to feel clean. Also its non-comedogenic, non-irritating, and dermatologist recommended.
AMBI even and clear daily moisturizer: This moisturizer comes in 3fl oz. and SPF30. It claims to visibly even skin tone and texture. I seriously think this is the only product i have used in which i have seen a DRAMATIC differene!! its so light and it doesn't over moisturize my skin and its perfect under makeup. I love this stuff!!
St. ives naturally clear apricot scrub blemish and black head control: This exfoliate comes in 6oz. and claims to fight blemishes without over-drying. I first heard this from seventeen magazine and Michelle Phan on youtube, and was excited to add something different to my skin care routine. I was especially intrigued that it was a blemish and black head control and prevented blemished and cleansed pores. This scrub has salicylic acid acne medication with 100% natural exfoliates which is great because benzoyl peroxide can sometimes be TOO harsh on my skin. i have to say, i really do like this stuff, it makes my skin feel like butter afterwards and its a great acne remedy. However this is actually the only meant for ACNE product i do use on my face which is great because it so light and it controls my acne perfectly.
Freeman superfruits revealing peel off facial mask: This has 6fl oz. in it and it claims to combat the effects of stress. I think you can only find it at ULTA though. This has a Mega 8 complex which purges and fortifies for clear skin. It can help combat the effects of stress, the environment, and your fun-not so healthy lifestyle. It combines with powerful fruits such as goji, acai, pomegranate, mango, mangosteen, cranberrry, noni, and blueberry to help purify, detoxify, and soothe stressed skin. I use this about once a week because you a legitly peeling off a layer of your skin. I absolutely love this stuff! You can actually see all the dirt and grime on your skin after you've let it sit for about 10-20 minutes.
AMBI fade cream for oily skin: This has about 2floz. of product in it and claims to fade dark spots for even, natural skin tone. This product i am very confused about. i remember when i got this over the summer and I had one dark spot on my nose and one on the center of my forehead and i put it on at the same time to both spots for a time span of 3 months and the one on my nose dramatically disappeared into nothing but the one on my forehead hasn't budged. Maybe one was deep and the other was thinner but I guess this is a miracle worker because got MOST of my dark spots gone in a matter of 3-4 months which is AMAZING!
thank you so much for reading this :) make sure to comment and follow this blog! ALSO! follow me on twitter:jaziedo1234 for updates for this blog :))

September Favorites!
HI everyone!welcome to my blog...todays topic is going to be my September favorites. I can't beleive how time has flown by, it seems like just yesterday I was swimming in the pool and now its already Fall. Speaking of Fall time, check back soon for a new series im going to be creating where I show you each of my outfits of every single day and ill be posting it on sundays hopefully. For example: Fall OOTDs week #1......Summer OOTDS #5.....Winter OOTDs 12....and so on. Hopefully You'll see a new post on that next sunday! :) Onto my September favorites, just to let you know, i thought itd be really annoying to have liike 50 bagillion pictures of ALL the products, so if you really want to see what looks like, ill leave a direct link next to the despcription so you can see it :) i hope you enjoy
Bare minerals eye pigments in the color Drama:
these shadows go for about 13 dollars. this color has really been my go-to color when i'm going out for dinner with friends a football game. Its got a cool three dimensional look to it. Its extremly purple but it kind of tricks your eye because of the green, gold, and silver glitter in it. Of course your going to be careful because this is a pigment so you will get fallout and there is a risk of you dropping it, but other than that, by far has it really stayed on my lid and, i've gotten so many compliments on it! :))
Wet n' wild creme shadow sticks in the color Pixi:
This color reminds alot of bare study from MAC in a shadow stick form, it can even be comparable to Sin by urban decay. Its a very foily shadow stick which is extremly creamy. Its a super good base to lighten up any dark shadows and is a nice touch under the brow bone or in the inner corner. I don't beleive they have a tone of colors, but they do go for 1.99 or 99cents which is amazing for the amount of pigment you get!!
Mac shadow in the color Wedge: these go for about 14.50. I can't beleive i have missed this amazing color at the many of times ive been to the MAC counters. What a cool find!! this color is a lighter brown color that is perfect for any color eyes but especially blue, green, or hazel. it can look good on any skin colors and is just amazing!! you can pare this with a harsh black winged liner or a soft brown gel liner and it still looks amazing :) as always with MAC, amazing color payoff, little fall out, and worth the price.
MAC paint in bamboom:
these go for about 16 dollars or 13....can't remeber! i bought this in early june and just kind of stashed it away in my makeup kit and forgot about it, but now that i bring it back out! its soo creamy and such a good base on the eyes. This particular paint is amazing because its my skin color but just adds that sort of victoria secret glow to eyes. With a tad of brown or black liner, you eyes just instantly pop!
MAC eyekohl in smolder:
At first when i bought this, I was so excited because I had been on the market for a good black eye liner that didnt smudge and stayed throughout the entire day. Unfortunatly, I got the total oppiset. I got an extremly smudgable pencil that faded away in the blink of an eye. This pencil is also what I call a Cameo Color....which means that it changed color according to any other eyeshadow you have....for example if you had a purple eyeshadow and you put a black line over the purple eyeshadow the black woud actually morph into a deep purple. So i quickly stahsed this in the back of my collecion. For some reason i brought it out this september and instead of going in with the intenstions of creating a thin black line, I intentially smudged it with a stiff smudger brush and created a black smokey eyeliner and it stayed on for the entire day. I had quickly learned that this was infact a great pencil if you intentionallyy smudged it! i thinking this goes for about $16.
Revlon Cream Illuminance shadows in not just nu
i picked this up recently and for the past 2 weeks, ive tried almost every single color combination and havent found a really good one....until today. I found that if you only take your finger and gently glide it on your lid that it will show up alot better and more color will be shown. I found that if applied wrong, these can look SUPER cakey and realllllllly bad. Maybe ill have a blog post to actually teach how to use these shadows properaly. And the great thing is that its only about $5
Bare minerals Tinted mineral veil:
HOLY.GRAIL.PRODUCT. oh my lord i have found THE best powder on this planet!!!! this tinted mineral veil is not translucent which is better because translucent can look bad on my dark skin. However since this is tinted it gives you an even more flawless coverage other than your foundation and it gives you the prettiest glow. And its really cooling to the skin. It stays on for a good 12 hours which is AMAZING!!!!! i loveee this product
