My skin care Routine

Hello everyone! welcome to my blog....today's topic is going to be about skin, skin, skin. Before I get into my actual routine, let me tell you a bit about my skin's history and what its like. I started getting acne at the middle to end of 6th grade and it was mostly around the center part of my face: upper forehead, nose, mouth. For around then, i used clean and clear and noticed that it didn't really seem to do anything. By the time  I was in 7th grade i didn't have much acne and for this period i used ACNE FREE which seemed to be working AMAZING! but then my skin started to get used to the ingredients in it, and again started to break out all the way up to the middle of 8th grade. By this time, I had had a new  philosophy that in order to get acne free skin, i first needed to cleanse my skin of all impurities. For this I used Aveeno positively radiant which broke me out like CRAZY!!! then I started using at home remedies such as an oatmeal face wash. That didn't work AS well as i was hoping too. In the summer I started using ambi products and it really cleared up my skin, again my skin got used to it and started to form break outs all over my face. Now, just entering highschool, i have chosen to go with a new cleanser, so here is my weekly skin routine:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY:
MORNING: wash face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. Pat my face with sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
NIGHT: wash face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. Put ambi fade cream for oily skin all over my face. Pat my face with sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
TUESDAY, THURSDAY,SATURDAY:
MORNING: Exfoliate my skin with st.ives apricot scrub. wash my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser. moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. Pat my face with sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
NIGHT: wash my face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. put ambi fade cream for oily skin. and skip the sweet almond mint oil
SUNDAYS:
MORNING: wash face with cetaphil gentle cleanser(2x) moisturize with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. pat on sweet almond mint oil from chaz dean.
NIGHT: do a super fruits peel off mask. moisturize face with ambi even and clear daily moisturizer. pat on fade cream. skip sweet almond mint oil.

I know this can seem really confusing, but it really isn't. Couple of things i want to explain about this routine. I wash my face twice at a time. The reason for this is because the first time your cleansing your face, all your doing is sloughing away the dead skin and dirt that was on your face previously. While this is really good, you also want to target the breakouts under the skin so this is why I wash two times. Another thing is,  Try NOT to exfoliate every single day or else your skin will become super sensitive, red, and blotchy. Also try to do a mask at least once a week. I do a peel off mask because its literaly PEELING off a thin layer of your skin so the rest of your face products can target the problem areas. Another thing, Some people CAN and CAN'T use an oil. I have pretty normal skin so using this oil makes my skin feel like water and it also leaves a very dewy fresh appearance to my skin. Now i will give a mini review on each of the products I use.
Cetaphil daily Facial Cleanser for normal to oily skin: So many people rave about this product and for me, its just ok. I don't notice a dramatic change in my skin, however i've only been using it for 2 weeks. This product comes in 8fl oz. and claims to remove excess oil without drying. And this it does, its great if you just want your makeup removed and to feel clean. Also its non-comedogenic, non-irritating, and dermatologist recommended.
AMBI even and clear daily moisturizer: This moisturizer comes in 3fl oz. and SPF30. It claims to visibly even skin tone and texture. I seriously think this is the only product i have used in which i have seen a DRAMATIC differene!! its so light and it doesn't over moisturize my skin and its perfect under makeup. I love this stuff!!
St. ives naturally clear apricot scrub blemish and black head control: This exfoliate comes in 6oz. and claims to fight blemishes without over-drying. I first heard this from seventeen magazine and Michelle Phan on youtube, and was excited to add something different to my skin care routine. I was especially intrigued that it was a blemish and black head control and prevented blemished and cleansed pores. This scrub has salicylic acid acne medication with 100% natural exfoliates which is great because benzoyl peroxide can sometimes be TOO harsh on my skin. i have to say, i really do like this stuff, it makes my skin feel like butter afterwards and its a great acne remedy. However this is actually the only meant for ACNE product i do use on my face which is great because it so light and it controls my acne perfectly.
Freeman superfruits revealing peel off facial mask: This has 6fl oz. in it and it claims to combat the effects of stress. I think you can only find it at ULTA though. This has a Mega 8 complex which purges and fortifies for clear skin. It can help combat the effects of stress, the environment, and your fun-not so healthy lifestyle. It combines with powerful fruits such as goji, acai, pomegranate, mango, mangosteen, cranberrry, noni, and blueberry to help purify, detoxify, and soothe stressed skin. I use this about once a week because you a legitly peeling off a layer of your skin. I absolutely love this stuff! You can actually see all the dirt and grime on your skin after you've let it sit for about 10-20 minutes.
AMBI fade cream for oily skin: This has about 2floz. of product in it and claims to fade dark spots for even, natural skin tone. This product i am very confused about. i remember when i got this over the summer and I had one dark spot on my nose and one on the center of my forehead and i put it on at the same time to both spots for a time span of 3 months and the one on my nose dramatically disappeared into nothing but the one on my forehead hasn't budged. Maybe one was deep and the other was thinner but I guess this is a miracle worker because got MOST of my dark spots gone in a matter of 3-4 months which is AMAZING!

September Favorites!

HI everyone!welcome to my blog...todays topic is going to be my September favorites. I can't beleive how time has flown by, it seems like just yesterday I was swimming in the pool and now its already Fall. Speaking of Fall time, check back soon for a new series im going to be creating where I show you each of my outfits of every single day and ill be posting it on sundays hopefully. For example: Fall OOTDs week #1......Summer OOTDS #5.....Winter OOTDs 12....and so on. Hopefully You'll see a new post on that next sunday! :) Onto my September favorites, just to let you know, i thought itd be really annoying to have liike 50 bagillion pictures of ALL the products, so if you really want to see what looks like, ill leave a direct link next to the despcription so you can see it :) i hope you enjoy

Bare minerals eye pigments in the color Drama:
these shadows go for about 13 dollars. this color has really been my go-to color when i'm going out for dinner with friends a football game. Its got a cool three dimensional look to it. Its extremly purple but it kind of tricks your eye because of the green, gold, and silver glitter in it. Of course your going to be careful because this is a pigment so you will get fallout and there is a risk of you dropping it, but other than that, by far has it really stayed on my lid and, i've gotten so many compliments on it! :))

Wet n' wild creme shadow sticks in the color Pixi:
This color reminds alot of bare study from MAC in a shadow stick form, it can even be comparable to Sin by urban decay. Its a very  foily shadow stick which is extremly creamy. Its a super good base to lighten up any dark shadows and is a nice touch under the brow bone or in the inner corner. I don't beleive they have a tone of colors, but they do go for 1.99 or 99cents which is amazing for the amount of pigment you get!!

Mac shadow in the color Wedge: these go for about 14.50. I can't beleive i have missed this amazing color at the many of times ive been to the MAC counters. What a cool find!! this color is a lighter brown color that is perfect for any color eyes but especially blue, green, or hazel. it can look good on any skin colors and is just amazing!! you can pare this with a harsh black winged liner or a soft brown gel liner and it still looks amazing :) as always with MAC, amazing color payoff, little fall out, and worth the price.

MAC paint in bamboom:
these go for about 16 dollars or 13....can't remeber! i bought this in early june and just kind of stashed it away in my makeup kit and forgot about it, but now that i bring it back out! its soo creamy and such a good base on the eyes. This particular paint is amazing because its my skin color but just adds that sort of victoria secret glow to eyes. With a tad of brown or black liner, you eyes just instantly pop!

MAC eyekohl in smolder:
At first when i bought this, I was so excited because I had been on the market for a good black eye liner that didnt smudge and stayed throughout the entire day. Unfortunatly, I got the total oppiset. I got an extremly smudgable pencil that faded away in the blink of an eye. This pencil is also what I call a Cameo Color....which means that it changed color according to any other eyeshadow you have....for example if you had a purple eyeshadow and you put a black line over the purple eyeshadow the black woud actually morph into a deep purple. So i quickly stahsed this in the back of my collecion. For some reason i brought it out this september and instead of going in with the intenstions of creating a thin black line, I intentially smudged it with a stiff smudger brush and created a black smokey eyeliner and it stayed on for the entire day. I had quickly learned that this was infact a great pencil if you intentionallyy smudged it! i thinking this goes for about $16.

Revlon Cream Illuminance shadows in not just nu
i picked this up recently and for the past 2 weeks, ive tried almost every single color combination and havent found a really good one....until today. I found that if you only take your finger and gently glide it on your lid that it will show up alot better and more color will be shown. I found that if applied wrong, these can look SUPER cakey and realllllllly bad. Maybe ill have a blog post to actually teach how to use these shadows properaly. And the great thing is that its only about $5

Bare minerals Tinted mineral veil:
HOLY.GRAIL.PRODUCT. oh my lord i have found THE best powder on this planet!!!! this tinted mineral veil is not translucent which is better because translucent can look bad on my dark skin. However since this is tinted it gives you an even more flawless coverage other than your foundation and it gives you the prettiest glow. And its really cooling to the skin. It stays on for a good 12 hours which is AMAZING!!!!! i loveee this product
Thanks for reading this guys!! love you all....make sure to comment and follow me on twitter:jaziedo1233

Makeup of the day! smokey eye

Hi everyone! welcome to my blog...todays topic is going to be of my makeup that I wore to school on september 22nd 2011. I understand that this may be too harsh for most people, but i love to experiment with smokey eyes so i went ahead and wore this look. Its actually very simple to achieve. I first took a paint from MAC called bamboom to prime my lids and to add some shimmer to all the matte shades. Next I took lighter brown color, like Wedge from MAC and placed that on my lid with a flat shader brush. Then I took a taperd blending brush and blended in a reddish brown color like courduroy for MAC into my crease. Next  i took a smudgeble eye pencil like an eyekohl in smolder from MAC and smudged an undefined line and winged it out. Also I smudged a little bit on my lower lash line. For some definition, I took revlon's colorstay liquid liner and  lined my uperlashine so thin that it doesn't even look like I have any liquid liner on. For some MORE definition, I took miliani's liquify eye pencil in black and i tightlined my eyes and lined my lower lashine with it. For some big lashes, like always, I took my favorite mascara which is the L'oreal voluminous million lashes mascara in Black and applied it to my upper and lower lashine. There you have it........ the look is done!! ;)
Products I used:
Bamboom(paint) from MAC $14
Wedge(shadow) from MAC $14.50
Courduory(shadow) from MAC $14.50
Smolder(eyekohl) from MAC $15
Revlon colorstay(liquid liner in black) from Walgreens $6
Miliani liquify in black( eyeliner) from Sears $7.49
L'oreal voluminous million lashes mascara(mascara) from Walgreens $7.00

OOTN: mix of harsh and girly

Make tonight is really simple. I used vanilla and wedge from MAC on my lid. Revlon's colorstay liquid liner on my lash line. Miliani liquifiy eye pencil in black on my  lower lash line. L'oreal voluminous mascara. and maybelline gel liner in brown. I also used Bobbi browns tinted moisturizer. Bare minerals setting powder. ELF highlighter palette. maybelline mousse blush in coffe cake. And my lips are bare.

I simply have my hair up in a half up half down due to keep the look looking tough.

As for my scarf, I got at H and M for about $9

My shirt is from charlotte russe for about $12

My black jeggings are from target for about $20

My shoes brown leather shoes are from JCPENNY for about $70

HI everyone, welcome to my blog....todays topic is my OOTN, or outfit of the night. Tonight I am going to a jazz concert at my highschool so it is really casual. I wanted to go for a mixture of touch and girly. For toughness, I added my black jeggings, harsh makeup, and a rocker inspired hairstyle. But kept it girly and went with a beige shirt with lace detailing on the sides, a pink embroderied scarf, and some brown leather boots. This whole outfit totaled to be about $111 excluding my makeup. I really hope you enjoyed this post and maybe it gave you some new ideas! until next time, love yah!!

Fall 2011 Beauty Report

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog....todays topic is going to be on Fall of 2011 beauty report. This is essentially just a booklet of new trends and beauty products that are going to become popular at sephora in the fall season. These booklets can be found right at the front counter of any sephora if you want to know. This is what sephora says about the color of fall: The look of fall? it's wildy sexy with unexpected hues and bold textures- yet it appears perfectly refined. Backstage at the shows, makeup artists favored rich color applied with the utmost precision, creating runway looks that stole the spotlight: geometric winged liner. Meticulously defined, blazing red lips. Lids etched in luminous metal shades. Hair was sleek and sharp, the finishing touch to such detailed makeup. Inside, find these and other top fall trends you'll want to try, along with our best and newest breakthroughs in mascara, skin, hair, and fragrance. Here are some of the things that  popped to me the most:
BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL!: this mascara has been hyped up for quite awhile now! it took three years to make this mascara and its well worth the wait! it uses a one-of-the-kind dome-tipped brush to lengthen, curl, lift, volumes, define and separate. $22
TOO FACED MATTE EYE PALETTE: this is a one of a kind exclusive to sephora palette! just like the too faced natural eye palette this is designed the same way. This includes nine neutral shadows all with a suede finish. $36
STILA NATURAL EYE SHADOW PALETTE: this palette reminds me a lot of the urban decay naked palette or the too faced natural eye palette. this palette comes with ten of stila's prettiest shades from the sofetest cream to gleaming charcoal. The matte brown smudge stick is also included and great for adding definition.$39
JOSIE MARAN REM PEN IN CHAMPAGNE/ALMOND: I am IN LOVE with this product! it reminds me a lot of a different jemma kid product because it comes with a dual ended eye color want with a built in shadow, liner, and two full size applicators. $32
ANASTASIA ILLUMIN8 SHADOW DUO IN POWER LUNCH!: Aga and revitilizing with powerful antiaging ingrdients in, IN LOVE WITH. These duos come in four different kinds. Two neautral duos and Two pinkish and purple tone colors. I got the duo powerlunch because of the gorgeous pink and purple. These shadows rovide a sheerwash of color, while hydrating. And the cool things about these are that it contains synergy complex which means you dont need a primer! $23
That is basically all the products that i was attracted too! I would defiantly check these cool products out! thank you for reading ;))

Product Review!: MAC Paints

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog....todays topic is going to be on MAC paints. I've noticed with the MAC paint pots, they are highly more marketed to people with cooler tones or lighter skin tons. However I do like MAC constructivist paint pot under a nice smokey eye. The lady a MAC was so helpful and redirected me to the MAC paints which were sneakily hidden under all the mascaras. So surprised that these were more geared towards warmer tones, I quickly picked up all the MAC paints since they were so neautral. The MAC paints go for $17.50, however when i bought them at the beginning of summer I think they were sold for around $16.00. There are five paints so it totals up for about 80 dollars. The five paints are bare canvas, untitled, stifle, bamboom, and nature:
BARE CANVAS: a sheer champagne color with shimmer
UNTITLED: a soft grey mauve with shimmer
STIFLE: pale peach with icy shimmer
BAMBOOM: beige-brown with golden shimmer
NATURE: midtone naked beige
Personally my favorites are bamboom and nature because they are so close to my skin tone. While I was walking out of MAC the lady quickly warned me to not squeeze hard on the bottle because alot of product will come out. I quickly disregarded this and incidentally A LOT of product came out, so just beware.
OVERALL SCORE: 4.3/5(this is sucha  nature tone on everyone and it can look good any browns or beige or even whiteish shadows. However under harsh shadows like a dark navy blue or a black it can make it look grey and wash it out. This does after about 6-8 hours but overall its an amazing must have base.
PACKAGING: 2/5( this score this is low because if you accidently squirt out too much product you can save it. It dries to quickly even if you put it in a sealed containter. The nozzel is to tiny for any prodcut to be saved.)
PRICE: $$$
